Shanghai Trip Day 1 and 2

Day 1
28 Dec 2007 makes the release of my results.. I did pretty well.. in fact, the best so far.. 2As, 2A-,1B+.. so I set off for Shanghai feeling very happy. Flew on China Eastern Airline at 4:55pm.

Arrived at Pudong airport at around 11plus.. Took a photo with Dear n Desmond before we boarded the coach to Shanghai..

When we arrive at Shanghai, we were feeling v hungry although we ate burger king at Changi Airport n dinner on the airplane too! The airplane's food is nice leh.. I think China Eastern is not bad!!! Next time I go beijing or other parts of china, I'll take this airline again!

Lifen (Desmond's best fren who went on this trip tog. w us) with the fried rice stall owner cooking Dan Cao Fan.. Mmmm.. Yummy.. 1st night n we get to try Lu Bian Tan already.. Surprisingly, we were alright the next morning.. no diarrhea or stomachache..

Day 2

We woke up early and took a bus to this place where the whole building sells tailor-made clothes.. Because Lifen wanna make Qipao.. Lifen with the bus-stop sign outside Des's apartment..

Our breakfast is lu bian tan again! This one doesn't taste nice.. super oily (because it's youtiao) and I didn't like it.

Inside the tailor-made clothes building.. we didn't take much photos inside except this photo outside a scarf shop.. I didn't buy any scarfs from this shop though.. coz I've a pretty matching scarf n cap already (bought tog w seannie in sg suntec)!!! Hee.. :)

Lunch Time!! Yippee!! We ate at this famous duck restaurant..

Our appetitiser.. very cute hor? There's sweet/salted fillings inside.. not bad..

The star.. BeiJing Kao Ya.. "Ya Wang".. the skin is crispy.. but oily!!! the meat is nice.. n I like the sauce!!! Us with the chef that attended to us.. the chef will go to each table when u order the duck and slice the duck on the spot for u.. n he can't even stop for a min to take a photo w us.. he's v engrossed in slicing the duck..

After lunch.. we went to this temple called Long Hua.. Walked very very long and up and down a stretch of road 6times because we got lost!!! Stupid chris n desmond can't decide and we ended up walking up n down a straight road!!!! we walked up n down 6 times leh.. n the temple closed already by the time we reached! Hmph!

Along the way, we took photo at this overhead bridge.. the overhead bridges in there is different from singapore.. it's round one!!!

I bought a new black coat over there on the 1st day!!! *nice* Cheap too!!! hehe..

Night Scene at the shopping district..

Dinner time.. we ate at a pasta restaurant that Desmond recommended.. the queue to eat at Shanghai is super long and we queued for almost an hr or more every night to eat dinner.. Dear n me made use of the time to shop for a jacket for him while Desmond and Lifen queued on the 1st night..

The hot n cold dessert that I m craving for now.. Vanilla ice cream n choc lava cake.. the cake inside is warm choc moose.. Delicious!
